StoneShield Intumescent Mastic is a high-performance, fire-rated sealant designed to expand when exposed to heat, forming a robust, insulating char barrier that slows the spread of flame, smoke, and gases. It is ideal for sealing linear joints and around service penetrations in fire-rated walls and floors.

Installation Guidelines

  • 1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or contaminants.
  • 2. Cut nozzle at desired bead size and insert cartridge into applicator gun.
  • 3. Apply evenly into the joint or around the service.
  • 4. Tool within 5–10 minutes to smooth surface and ensure full contact.
  • 5. Allow to cure. Protect from water and mechanical stress until dry.
